Produced by fermentation from vegetable sources and is not related to milk. It is the sodium salt of lactic acid obtained from corn, potatoes, sugar beets, tapioca and other plants with a high carbohydrate content.

USE RECOMMENDATIONS
- cosmetic ingredient
- suitable for a wide variety of cosmetic skin and hair care products such as toners, cleansers, moisturisers, serums, body creams and milks, shower gels and shampoos, hand creams, sensitive skin care creams and lotions
- add to the water phase of formulations
- for soaps made by cold process, add up to 3% of the total weight of the oils to the cooled lye water
