Important note: aloe vera gel, contrary to what the name suggests, is not in gel form but is fluid. This is normal because the gel extracted from the plant, once crushed and filtered, becomes fluid like water. Other aloe vera products that are in gel form contain added gelling agent.

• It contains amino acids such as: lysine, histidine, arginine, aspartic acid, threonine, serine, hydroxyproline, proline, glycine, alanine, cystine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, glutamic acid, phenylalanine, tryptophan, tyrosine.
• Contains enzymes such as: amylase, lipase, alkaline phosphatase, carboxypeptidase, catalase, oxidase.
• Contains polysaccharides such as: glucomannan, pectin, cellulose.
• Also contains phytosterols, minerals, B-complex vitamins, alpha-hydroxy acids.

USE RECOMMENDATIONS

• as an ingredient for the preparation of a wide range of skin and hair care and hygiene products
• in emulsions can be included in the water phase
• being rich in electrolytes, the high content of minerals and salts in aloe vera may affect the stability of an emulsion
