Madder root powder

Used to prepare natural coloring hair masks, it gives reddish, salmon or mahogany hues or reflections, depending on the initial colour of the hair. Also suitable for soap coloring.

USE RECOMMENDATIONS 

• cosmetic ingredient
• use as a coloring hair mask mixed with other hair powders, forming a paste with hot water; follow the instructions on the respective henna for use
• always combine with a henna-type powders like neutral henna, blonde henna, red henna, in a general ratio of 1 to 1
• use as a coloring agent in creams, gels, lotions and foaming products, in form of an aqueous macerate or infusion
• to color soaps make an infusion and use it as water for diluting the soda, or, for more intense coloring add the powder at the end of saponification

FORMULATION GUIDE

• How to prepare an infusion
• add 100 ml boiling water to 10 gr powder and mix
• leave it to infuse up to 15 minutes
• filter it with a suitable tool or filtering paper, allow to cool and transfer the collected filtrate into a clean bottle
• incorporate it at once into your formulation or add a preservative (1% Cosgard) to keep it longer for future projects
