FORMULATION GUIDE

• combine with henna powders to prepare plant based hair dyes
• mix with ayurvedic powders and apply as an anti-dandruff of hair growth stimulating mask
• combine with shikakai powder to prepare a no poo shampoo for colored hair
• macerate it in water with vinegar and apply to rinse hair
• gives red, purple, pink or grey color to preparations, depending on pH and use level; in soaps and alkaline media, the colour becomes greyish
